Active Garden Review

Editorial policy

Active Garden Review aims to make garden information clear, careful and useful. We distinguish general guidance from claims that need local context, and we correct published material when a meaningful error is brought to our attention.

Accuracy and clarity

We check wording, names and practical claims against appropriate information before publication. Where conditions vary by climate, site or plant, we say so rather than turning one example into a universal rule. We avoid presenting uncertain details as settled fact.

Independence and partnerships

Editorial coverage is shaped by relevance to readers, not by a promise of favourable treatment. Paid, sponsored or partner material is clearly labelled so readers can distinguish it from independent editorial content. A partnership does not guarantee editorial coverage or a positive assessment.

Corrections

Readers can use the Contact page to flag a factual error or a passage that needs clarification. We review specific, actionable reports and amend material when warranted, making the correction clear where the change could affect a reader's understanding.

Illustrations

Some illustrations may be AI-generated. When an image is illustrative rather than a documentary depiction, it should not be treated as proof of a plant's appearance, a garden result or a real place.
